Our commitment

BexOM Group is required by federal law (HIPAA) to safeguard the privacy of your health information and to provide you with this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices. We are committed to following the terms of the notice currently in effect.

What information we collect

To arrange a safe ride, we collect minimum necessary information including your name, contact details, mobility needs, pickup and drop-off addresses, and any special requirements your medical provider has shared.

How we use your information

We use your PHI only for: coordinating and providing your transportation; communicating with your healthcare provider when authorized; billing and payment processing; quality assurance and operational requirements; compliance with state and federal law.

Your rights

You have the right to: inspect and request a copy of your PHI we maintain; request corrections to your records; receive an accounting of disclosures; request restrictions on certain uses or disclosures; receive a paper copy of this notice on request; file a complaint without fear of retaliation.

Safeguards

All BexOM staff and drivers complete annual HIPAA training. Patient information is transmitted over encrypted channels, stored on secured systems, and access is restricted on a need-to-know basis.

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, please contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@bexomgroup.com or 346-313-3509. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
